The George Inn is set amongst the beautiful, rolling countryside of Exmoor in the quiet & friendly village of Brompton Regis, on the Eastern side of the Exmoor national park.
Accommodation
Bed & Breakfast is available throughout the year & being a family run pub you will always receive a very warm welcome, whether on a fishing trip, walking holiday or simply taking a break from the hustle & bustle of modern life to visit the peace & tranquility of Exmoor.
All of our rooms boast idyllic views across the beautiful Exmoor countryside, each spotlessly clean, with en-suite bathroom, you can be assured of a comfortable stay. Our rooms are well presented & offer Tea & coffee making facilities, while being equipped with WiFi & TV with freeview. *Our room rates include a full English breakfast.

Whether you are visiting as a group or individually, fishing for pleasure or in a competition, we would be delighted to look after you. Bespoke fishing offers can be arranged on request or simply choose from our available offers*. The George Inn will also be happy to provide pack lunches & fill your flask. We especially look forward to serving you drinks at the end of your days fishing whilst hearing fishy stories, tactics deployed & of course the size of the biggest trout that got away…
*Fishing will be catch & release except on final days fishing, where you can keep up to 5 fish if you wish.

A bit of history…
The George Inn, a traditional 16th Century Free House that was originally named after George I (1660-1727) who was King of England from 1714 until his death. Originally, it had a thatched roof and was slated from thatch in about 1964.
