Fishery Update 16th September

FISHERY UPDATE: 16th September

With the water temperature remaining cooler in line with the autumnal weather we are getting catch returns mainly showing floating and midge tip lines with many showing buzzers and diawl bach teams doing well.

Also a few really good catches on Saturday where 2 boats returned catches of 14 and 17 fish to the net.

Top flies include red holo Diawl Bach, yellow cheek quill buzzer, tequila blog and blue flash damsel, also starting to get a few reports and catches on Daddy Long legs…
Cow moor, the narrows and Dam area, are still top locations but we’re sure the fish are returning to Bessoms and Ruggs especially if the daddies start blowing onto the water. Tight Lines…
